Over 1400 dancers filled one of the largest ballrooms in the DC area Saturday night. The energy was amazing! Sheraton Premiere’s 400+ guest rooms were entirely taken over by  dancers from every corner of the USA and Canada. The hotel sold out months in advance of the weekend. The adjacent hotel was also at capacity with the overflow. There were more than 900 contest entries including 39 routine performances, 517 Jack & Jill contest entries and 186 pro/am couples. 700 breakfast buffets were served Saturday night. The current world’s West Coast Swing, Hustle & Hand Dance champions were all there. An amazing line up of 45 hours of dance workshops were presented by national champion instructors. Over 3500 hours of workshops were taken during the weekend. $75 DVD sets include all the routines and spotlight finals for J&J & Strictly contests and a video notebook of all 45 workshops.
